Let’s Get Cooking!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (8) large refrigerator biscuits
  • 16 slices Cabot Vermont Sharp Cheddar Cracker Cuts, halved
  • 2 ounces cooked turkey meat, chopped (or turkey slices cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Cabot Salted Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Open the can of biscuits and slice each biscuit in half. Flatten the biscuit with your hands slightly and top with a few pieces of turkey, a dollop of mustard, and 2 pieces of the halved cracker cuts.
  3. Pull each side of the biscuit towards the center and pinch to secure, forming a small sandwich.
  4. Place the sandwich bites in the air fryer basket, seam side down. They should not touch (you may need to work in batches).
  5. Brush the tops of the sandwich bites with the melted butter and sprinkle with the Everything Bagel Seasoning and Italian seasoning.
  6. Air fry the sandwich bites for 5-6 minutes, until the tops are golden and the biscuits are cooked through. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Tips and Tricks:

  • For a crispy exterior, brush the sandwich bites with a thin layer of olive oil before air frying.
  • If you don’t have Everything Bagel Seasoning, you can substitute it with a mixture of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, and dried onion flakes.
  • These sliders are best served warm, but they can also be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a day.

Additional Inspiration:

  • Spicy Turkey Sliders: Add a kick of heat by incorporating a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of sriracha sauce to the turkey mixture.
  • Cranberry Turkey Sliders: Mix a spoonful of cranberry sauce into the turkey mixture for a festive touch.
  • Mini Turkey Burgers: Use ground turkey patties instead of biscuits for a heartier option.
  • Air Fryer Turkey Meatballs: Shape the turkey mixture into small meatballs and air fry them for a fun and flavorful appetizer.

With these Air Fryer Turkey Sliders, you’re sure to create a crowd-pleasing appetizer that’s both delicious and easy to make. So, gather your ingredients, crank up your air fryer, and get ready to experience the magic of these bite-sized wonders!

Step 2: Place the burgers close to one another in the air fryer once it has heated up so you can fit them all in. Air fry for 8 minutes (if thin) to 10 minutes (if thicker), flipping half way through. Make sure they are fully cooked by checking that the internal temperature of the meat reads 165 degrees. (How quickly they cook will depend on the thickness of your sliders and the air fryer.) If they arent quite done, cook them in 2 minute increments until they reach 165 degrees.
