They hide behind the word “may” . by putting “knuckles may be” in the order, when really Workers in the processing area said that the crab legs were already cut so that each order had knuckles. They knowingly place the knuckles inneach order. I took the time to email them about the mess and included a picture. They asked me to take more pictures, as if I were going to help them with their investigation. Send someone to my door, and I’ll be happy to greet them. to my deep freezer. People lose millions of dollars every year because they include these huge chunks of pre-cut pieces but charge more for something the customer doesn’t get. This fits with both our description, which says that an order might include knuckles, and the three-pound weight that was ordered. The knuckle is the bottom of the leg, and it has the same great King crab meat as the legs. Skulls are sold from boats along with King Crab legs and claws for the same price. The claims that they read a chat with one of our former employees are not true and don’t fit with our processes or facility. No, we don’t cut the King Crab ourselves. That job is done at the first processor, right off the boat. Not every order comes with knuckles, but most do need some smaller pieces to make weight because you can’t always hit 3 pounds with just legs. We can’t refund or reship this order because it fits the description on our website and has the right amount of pounds, as shown by the 3Lb label on the bag and the UPS ship weight. Customer response01/25/2024BBB NOTE: Complaint was first closed; answered 1/14/24 when customer didn’t reply within 10 days of initial business response After that, the customer called BBB on January 25, 2019, saying they had never heard back from the business. BBB sent it again to the customer, who replied, “I did not get this email or response.” I agree with this answer 100% and am still working through you, who I thought did a more thorough investigation. But no worries. As the package was full of these knuckles, I don’t accept this answer. If they can’t make the 3 lb weight from crab legs, then it’s their job to find crab legs that DO fit the weight or stop advertising that the customer will get what they don’t actually receive!!!
