- 5 One half Turkey Posted by brsude@gmail. com on Apr 12th 2023 Delicious, especially with Matzo stuffing. Great, as part of a traditional Passover main course. Recommend this highly.
- 5 Half Turkey Posted on November 29, 2022 by Barbara Miller Exceptionally good Despite the higher cost, my family is adamant about it since it is far superior to previous turkeys we have eaten.
- Amazing! Ari shared a 5-Half Turkey on April 18, 2022. Juicy meat with crisp skin. Was delicious.
- Posted by Naomi Raiselle on April 18, 2022 5 Half turkey: The BEST! I’ve purchased this half turkey multiple times and have been incredibly impressed each time. I seasoned the half bird with an olive oil-based fresh herb rub that included a ton of rosemary, thyme, sage, and garlic before roasting it cut side down on top of a mound of sweet onions, garlic, and shallots. Following a couple of hours of roasting at 350 degrees, I put the caramelized onion, garlic, and shallot gravy in the food processor to create an intensely flavorful gravy to pour over the incredibly juicy and tender turkey. SO GOOD! And, worth every penny. Compared to ordinary turkeys, these turkeys have thinner skin and sweeter meat. The meat has a delicate texture and is exceptionally juicy for a turkey.
- 5 The greatest half-turkey idea ever! Posted by Ellen on November 29, 2021 Normally, I’m not a big fan of turkey, but this one really impressed me! Not only was it delicious, but I also got all the advantages of a larger turkey—such as a higher meat-to-bone ratio—without having to have too much and save the leftovers for weeks. Our 7. We had two dinners for four adults from a five-pound half, plus some extra meat for leftovers and some nice bones for broth.
- 5 Stars Posted on November 28, 2021 by Nancy Levites Cooked it for 20 minutes longer than recommended
- 3 Half Turkey Hannah Rosenthal posted on November 28, 2021 It was delicious, but a large portion of the skin was missing.
- Arrived five days after shipment, still frozen. Alan Greenberg posted a fantastic review of the 5 Half Turkey Quality on November 27, 2021. We brined and thawed the turkey, giving it ample time to come to room temperature. (We only made two halves because the entire turkey was out of stock.)
- 5 Half Turkey Diane Matza posted on November 26, 2021 Flavorful and moist We had a 7-pounder that was merely seasoned with paprika, thyme, and garlic. Baked for fifteen minutes at 425°C, then for fifteen minutes at 375°C, checking every fifteen minutes.
How Many Pieces Will I Receive?
Our frozen meats are packaged in vacuum-sealed packages. Most packages contain one piece (ie, one Brisket). Some packages will contain two pieces (ie, Lamb Chops). Packages of smaller items, such as Chicken Wings or Pepper Steak, will contain multiple pieces.
For red meat items and multi-pack poultry items, vacuum-sealed packages may be packed in a cardboard box. If the box asks you to select how many packages you would like, you will do so by selecting “Customize Your Order.” Next, you’ll select your preferred weight—that is, the total weight of all the packages contained within that box. You don’t have to select anything if a green box contains only one option.
Lets say youre ordering Lamb Chops and you select the following:
Youve chosen: 2 packages, ~1.1 lb, and the price shows $39.99.
You’ll receive 1 box, with 2 packages of lamb chops inside.
Each package will contain 2 lamb chops. You’ll have 4 lamb chops in total. Although we make every effort to pack items of comparable sizes, you might notice that some chops are slightly bigger and some are slightly smaller.
