The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is one of the best buffets in Vegas. We always keep the most updated prices, photos, hours, and menus by calling the Bacchanal directly every month.
Since it opened on September 11, 2012, it has been one of the best and biggest buffets in Las Vegas. This 25,000-square-foot, three-room buffet has the most foods of any restaurant in one place. It can seat 600 people.
A 2,120-square-foot area of the Caesars Palace Buffet was redone in April 2021. The food counters and service equipment were moved to make the live kitchens more visible to everyone.
Notes: You can put your name down at a Caesars Palace kiosk for the Bacchanal. When your table is ready, they’ll text you, and you have 15 minutes to come back.
There are ten food stations at the Bacchanal Buffet. They are for American, sushi, seafood, carving, Mediterranean, Latin, Middle Eastern, Asian, charcuterie, and desserts. It also has one of the largest selections of vegan and gluten-free options in a buffet.
The Bacchanal Seafood kitchen has both a cold seafood selection and a hot seafood section. Fresh seafood is flown in daily with food prepared by specialty chefs with more options than other buffets.
They had seafood buffet classics like shrimp cocktail, shrimp and grits, sea scallops, mussels, and clams. They also had Alaskan Dungeness cold crab legs, Jonah crab claws, Cajun poached prawns, and lobster claws, but no more King crab legs.
You’ll also find Bacchanal originals like Chipotle Bourbon BBQ Oysters, Harissa grilled octopus, and a spicy seafood boil.

Bacchanal Buffet vs Other Top Vegas Buffets
How does Bacchanal Buffet compare to other famous Las Vegas buffets like the Wicked Spoon Buffet at the Cosmopolitan or Buffet at Bellagio? Here is a quick rundown:
-
Bacchanal: More variety and higher quality food but also the highest priced. Best weekend vibe.
-
Wicked Spoon: Excellent food quality with many unique dishes. Great brunch option. Lower price point.
-
Buffet at Bellagio: Elegant buffet with upscale dishes and large seafood spread including crab legs. Better value for price.
-
Buffet at Wynn: Beautifully decorated with quality food, carved meats, and good pizza/pasta. Relaxed vibe.
While Wynn and Bellagio offer strong buffet choices, most Vegas experts agree you can’t beat Bacchanal for sheer extravagance and the exciting atmosphere.

Is Bacchanal Buffet on Your Vegas To-Eat List?
Meat & Carving Station
You won’t be disappointed by the selection of carved meats at the Bacchanal Buffet’s carving station. You’ll find Prime Rib, Tri-tip, smoked brisket, Beef steamboat, slab bacon, and honey-glazed ham.
Then don’t forget to cross over to the other side with truffle roasted chicken, porkchetta, and roasted turkey with Foie Gras Cognac sauce, chutney, and chimichurri.
Already prepared and sliced on plates are wood-grilled lamb t-bones, chicken and waffles, and roasted bone marrow. On the side, you can get truffle mashed potatoes, greens, butternut squash soup, Bacchanal sliders, and BBQ Trainwreck fries. They also serve white bean cassoulet with lamb and crispy chicken wings.
The Bacchanal Buffet goes above and beyond with their Asian food. In addition to American favorites like General Tso’s Chicken, fried rice, stir fry, smoked pork ribs, crab rangoon, and spring rolls, they also have Hamachi Collar, roasted duck, and Shiitake pot stickers in their Asian section, as well as Korean, Japanese, and Filipino dishes.
The Korean section includes Japchae, Kalbi short ribs, assorted Banchan, chicken with Gochujang sauce, and kimchi fried rice.
There are Poke bowls, sushi rolls, Nigiri sushi, and even a Vegan California roll in the Japanese section.
The Filipino dishes include grilled pork skewers, pork Lumpia, Ensaladang Kamatis sa Patis, and pork belly.
They even have an Asian soup station with two kinds of ramen, Vietnamese Pho, Filipino Congee, Tom Kha, Egg Flower soup, and Dandan noodles.
They have some unique dishes that you won’t find anywhere else, like Bloody Mary Deviled Eggs, Burrata, and more.
Vegans have a lot of choices between the two meat stations. There is broccoli and purple cauliflower, brussel sprouts, roasted carrots, and butternut squash and quinoa salad, among other things.
The Middle Eastern section has premade plates of Mezze Trio of Baba Ghanoush, beet hummus, tabbouleh, and pita. There are a variety of olives, pickled turnips, and stuffed grape leaves.
At the Latin Station, you could choose from different kinds of ceviche and small plates like churos and Mexican street food.
In the Mediterranean section there was pan-seared salmon, lamb, pasta, slices of pizza, and breakfast pizza
Some of the Italian dishes they serve are Caprese salad, antipasto salad, and some really unique pizzas, like Duck Confit.
You can also custom-order pasta and risotto in full or half portions.
In our four visits, we have gone for breakfast, brunch, and dinner. Both are fantastic, but there is no other buffet that comes close to the Bacchanal, putting it in the #1 spot on our list of Best Breakfast Buffets.
They have a juice bar, traditional waffles, french toast, and scrambled eggs for breakfast. They also have 6 types of hashbrowns and potatoes, 3 types of eggs benedict, 3 types of scrambled eggs, Asian food, a full range of sausages and meats, and a lot of different breakfast pastries and sweets.
You really should try…
- Crab avocado toast
- Truffled deviled eggs
- Red velvet pancakes
- Custom-ordered dessert crepes
- Acai breakfast bowl
The main dining room is visible from the Caesars Palace casino and central bar. It is surrounded by glass and stone textures, and glass chandeliers. It’s light and bright and perfect for breakfast.
Our favorite places to eat dinner are the two back rooms with dark wood floors. They are a bit more private than the main dining room. The three separate rooms are uniquely their own and feel like three separate restaurants.
In related news, we missed the back part of the buffet on our first visit. It seems to go on forever throughout the restaurant. The back portion of the buffet features the Italian, Asian, artisan cheese, and fine sliced sausages. The Asian selections are some of the best I’ve found in any buffet in Vegas.
Some of the best things to eat for dinner are the applewood-smoked wagyu beef and the seafood laksa, which is a curry-noodle soup.
The seafood bar is the first thing you’ll see. It has a wide range of shellfish and fish fillets cooked in rich sauces.
The desserts are on an island unto themselves. And they deserve their own buffet with gelato, cakes, pies, pastries, cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, chocolate-covered strawberries, and other desserts you’ve never seen before. Don’t forget to save room for a few rich treats.
