This beloved Thanksgiving tradition offers something for everyone, from seasoned runners aiming for a personal best to families looking for a fun and festive way to kick off the holiday weekend. Whether you’re a competitive athlete or a casual walker, the Turkey Trot promises a memorable experience filled with laughter, camaraderie, and, of course, a whole lot of gobbling!

- 5k Run Turkey Trot: Lace up your running shoes and take on the 5k course, winding through the scenic streets of El Paso. Whether you’re aiming for a podium finish or a leisurely jog, this event is perfect for all levels of runners.
- 1-mile Fun Walk: Looking for a more relaxed way to participate? Join the 1-mile Fun Walk, a family-friendly event that’s perfect for all ages and abilities. Stroll through the course at your own pace and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
- Turkey Trot Sleep In: Can’t make it to the race but still want to show your support? Sign up for the Turkey Trot Sleep In and receive a commemorative pillowcase, bib, and medal. It’s the perfect way to participate in the fun from the comfort of your own home.
Registration:
- Early Bird Registration: Register before November 19th for $40 (or $30 with a discount code).
- Late Registration: Register between November 20th and 23rd for $50.
- Race Day Registration: You can also register on race day for $50.
Packet Pickup:
- Saturday, November 18th: 10 AM – 4 PM at the Westside Family YMCA (7145 N. Mesa)
- November 20th – 22nd: 9 AM – 4 PM at 810 Wyoming
- Race Day: 6 AM – 7 AM at the race start (Corner of Virginia and Montana)
Additional Information:
- T-shirts and medals: T-shirts and medals will not be mailed and must be picked up in person at the packet pickup locations or on race day.
- Sleep In participants: Sleep In participants can register during race week (Monday – Wednesday) from 9 AM – 4 PM at 810 Wyoming or on race day from 6 – 7 AM at the race start.
- Parking: Free parking is available at the race start.
