This product is shipped in a biodegradable liner, deep chilled to ensure fresh delivery. The bird’s arrival temperature will change based on where you are.
That suggested roasting times may vary. Reduce the above roasting times by about 30 minutes if the turkey is not stuffed.

Family Recipe: Simple Rub
Apply a mixture of your preferred herbs and spices or a paste consisting of the following ingredients to the outside of the turkey:
4 Tbsp oil, (melted butter, margarine, olive oil, etc. ) 4 tsp. salt, or to taste 2 tsp. paprika.
The turkey should be placed breast side up in an open roasting pan. Pour about 2 cups water or broth into the pan’s bottom. Place your beautiful turkey in the oven.
Use a 325º F oven. To avoid over-roasting, we advise you to periodically check the internal temperature of the roast. The last half of roasting is usually when the internal temperature rises the fastest.
The bird will brown to a rich, golden color while roasting, so there’s no need to turn it. To avoid overbrowning during the final hour of roasting, cover the turkey loosely with a foil tent. For an absolutely amazing gravy, warm up one cup of white wine (do not boil). Pour this over your turkey halfway through the roasting time. Take the turkey out of the oven when the internal temperature reaches the desired level. Before carving, cover and leave for at least fifteen minutes.
