We have tried every method there is to make corned beef and cabbage, but our favorite is probably our Instant Pot corned beef recipe. It comes out perfectly tender every time.

- Mix ingredients Add all items into a large measuring cup. Mix the ingredients with a fork or a whisk until they are as smooth as you can get them.
- Cook Depending on the way you cook, you can either pour it on top about an hour before the meat is done or serve it on the side. If you made a double batch, you could also do both.

This, in my opinion, is because you can cook it slowly with as many carrots and potatoes as you like until it is completely tender. Considering how much flavor beer adds, I would also advise using it in place of water.
