How long to pressure cook carrots?

They are the side dish that goes with every protein you can imagine, including tofu or lentils as well as chicken, pork, fish, beef, turkey, or lamb.

This common root vegetable is one that many of us practically always have on hand. And you can make a delectable side dish in your electric pressure cooker in just a few minutes.

These gorgeous orange vegetables will go well with anything you decide to prepare for dinner. Typically, I enjoy making them when I have leftovers for dinner. With some leftover pot roast or roasted chicken, it’s nice to have something light on the side.

People of all ages enjoy these sweet vegetables, and when they are prepared to perfection using this quick and simple method, diners will be sure to sing their praises.

They can be dressed up to serve for elegant dinner parties or holiday meals, or they can be dressed down for a casual weeknight meal.

The ideal method for preparing them in this appliance is to steam them. So, what will you need to make these?.

First and foremost, your electric pressure cooker. The time has come to remove it from the cupboard or closet and place it on your countertop, whether it’s in an Instant Pot or another type.

If you don’t already have one, we can assist you in determining which one best suits your needs.

In order to prevent the vegetables from touching the water at the insert’s base, you will also need to use a steamer basket or trivet. The vegetables won’t get too mushy like they would if you cooked them in the liquid directly if you use one of these extra accessories.

This technique is great because all you have to do is throw your ingredients in and start cooking. In the interim, prepare your entree, enjoy a glass of wine, or complete one or two quick household tasks.

Without your fussing or overly attentive tending, they will always be cooked to perfection.

I doubt you’ll ever want to prepare root vegetables any other way after you start doing it this way.

The best part is that this vegetable is inexpensive and readily available all year long. It will make a tasty addition to any meal.
