A turkey, a turkey, a funny bird,With a gobble so loud it could be heard.A waddle and strut, a head held highA feathered friend, reaching for the sky.

With a beak so sharp, and eyes so bright,
He pecks at the ground, with all his might.
He searches for seeds, and worms so sweet,
A delicious feast, a tasty treat.

But oh, how he gobbles, with a sound so grand,
A symphony of noise, across the land.
He puffs out his chest, and spreads his wings,
A comical dance, that laughter brings.

He struts and he preens, with a proud display,A feathered showman, stealing the day.He gobbles and dances, with joy so clear,A turkey’s spirit, shining bright and near

He may be a funny bird, with a gobble so loud,But his heart is kind, and his spirit proud.He brings us laughter, and a smile so wide,A turkey’s charm, cannot be denied.
