What happened to the country of Turkey? eBay does not recognize.
According to eBay item specifics it no longer exists.
I was listing some towels made in the country of Turkey. Turkey is not listed as an origin of manufacture option in the item specifics of the sell your item form. There are a few nations listed that start with the letter Tur, such as Turkiye (sp?? ), but Turkey is not one of them.
I had to list it as country unknown even though the manufacturer label appears to be made in Turkey in my listing photos.
With that information staring me in the face, I, the seller, appear like a dimwit who doesn’t know where my own merchandise came from.
Given the snafus on the site, I understand that a missing country of origin is a minor annoyance, but really, it’s kind of an insult to the Turkish people.
