Why does my NutriBullet 900 leak?
The extractor blade piece of the NutriBullet blender has a gasket—a rubber seal—on the underside of the blade. The gasket is intended to keep the extractor blade in place on the cup and stop leaks. The blender may leak if the rubber seal is torn or ripped.
Unplug the power base and allow it to cool for an hour if the blades are not turning and there is a burning smell. The powerbase will reset once the unit is unplugged.
The issue is the bearing set up is failing. After that, the friction causes the metal to become so hot that the plastic around it begins to melt. Best bet is a replacement blade/lid.
