How to clean cow tongue
Cow tongue should be cooked for 15 minutes in a bowl with hot water, salt, and the other ingredients.

Put the tongue in a pan and cover with water. I typically season with salt, beef or chicken bouillon cubes, and onions when I cook beef (and this is now my go-to method for doing so).
Feel free to substitute fresh herbs like parsley, chives, spring onions, etc. for the bouillon cube if you don’t want to. but ensure you add salt and onion. Other choices to think about include ginger, garlic, bay leaves, and similar things.
Cook the tongue for an additional 30 minutes on low-medium heat, or until the meat is tender enough to your liking.
