  • 12 oz beer
  • 2 large russet potatoes, cut in half, or 4 large red potatoes
  • 1 onion sliced, optional
  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • Rinse potatoes. Set large red potatoes in the center, closely spaced apart, and with similar sizes so that the beef can be placed on top. If using two large russets, cut them in half and place the cut sides down in the center of the pot. These will be your trivet.
  • Place the corned beef piece flatly atop the potatoes.
  • Pour beer on top of meat.
  • The corned beef seasoning packet is inside your meat pouch; sprinkle it on top of the meat.
  • Close the steam valve and your pressure cooker’s non-attached lid.
