- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Rub a little olive oil over the stew meat pieces, carrots, and onions. Roast the meat, bones, and vegetables. - Place the roasting pan on the stovetop over low heat, covering two burners, and add hot water while scraping up the browned bits.
