- McKeever’s Market & Eatery: This grocer has locations in Lenexa and Lee’s Summit, and they offer pre-cooked turkeys, as well as a la carte items like mashed potatoes, gravy, and stuffing.
- Price Chopper: Price Chopper has stores on both sides of the state line, and they offer affordable pre-cooked turkeys. You can also order a Thanksgiving meal package from Price Chopper.

- Cupini’s: This Westport restaurant typically serves Italian food, but for Thanksgiving, it offers a 15-pound turkey with sides.
- French Market: This Prairie Village cafe offers Thanksgiving meals for two, perfect for a small gathering. It also has sides available for purchase, as well as desserts and rolls.
- The Market at Meadowbrook: This Prairie Village restaurant offers fully cooked individual meals, perfect for dining alone or ordering several for a group. Orders must be placed by November 19.

- Brancato’s Catering: Brancato’s offers Thanksgiving meals for six or ten people, with convenient pickup locations across the city. You can also have your meal delivered for a fee. Place your order by November 15.
- Fareway Meat Market: You can get a full Thanksgiving meal with sides and pies or just a turkey or ham (or turducken!) to cook at home. There are three locations in the KC Metro.
- Garozzo’s Ristorante: Garozzo’s will be open for dine-in on Thanksgiving and will also offer curbside Thanksgiving meals for two or four.
- Kravin’ It KC Kitchen: You can pick up your ready-to-heat meal at Lula Southern Cookhouse in the Crossroads or pay an extra fee to have it delivered. Customize your meal with side dish options like an autumn salad, candied sweet potatoes, and broccoli cheese and rice casserole.
Just the Meat
If you’re only looking for a turkey, you can buy one from a butcher shop or grocery store. Some popular options include:
- Joes Kansas City Bar-B-Que: You can order a smoked turkey or smoked turkey breast from any of the three restaurant locations. Call and reserve over the phone, and hurry, because these turkeys go fast!
- Local Pig: The Local Pig butcher has several different types of turkeys available, as well as a turkey breast-only option. You can buy raw to cook yourself or already cooked. It also has ham or any other kind of meat if you prefer that over turkey.
- Slap’s BBQ: You can order a whole turkey and pick it up hot or cold. You can add other items from the menu if you want classic barbecue food on the table!
- The Upper Cut KC: This butcher is offering brined and smoked turkeys for pickup. It also has Thanksgiving sides that you can add on.
Pies and Rolls
No Thanksgiving meal is complete without pies and rolls Here are some great places to get them in Kansas City:
- Anita’s Famous Rolls: As the name suggests, Anita’s is famous for rolls, but it also offers pies and other desserts at the Northland shop. Make sure you pre-order so you can get exactly what you need.
- Best Regard’s Bakery & Cafe: This Overland Park bakery offers pans of brioche rolls as well as brioche cinnamon rolls and Thanksgiving turkey sugar cookies.
- Betty’s Pies and Cobblers: Betty’s offers nine different kinds of pies, as well as cobblers and bread pudding. Order by November 16.
- Bloom Baking Co.: This bakery in the River Market is serving up a variety of pies and rolls as well as a “mystery dessert!” Place orders by November 19.
- Broadmoor Bistro: This program is part of the culinary arts program in the Shawnee Mission School District. It will have pies, rolls, and side dishes available for pre-order this year.

- Heirloom Bakery: Along with an assortment of pies, you’ll find rolls, cornbread, and of course, the specialty freshly baked bread.
- Pie Goddess: This amazing home bakery makes the most intricate (and delicious) pies. She has beautiful specialty pies, as well as traditional pies and her delicious brownies available this year. Pick up is at her home in Olathe.
- Pie Time: This bakery is in Liberty and has a Thanksgiving menu that includes 17 kinds of pie! Orders must be placed by November 12.
- Rye: Pies offered this year are pumpkin, dutch apple, MoKan, chocolate peanut butter, and banana cream. You can also pre-order cinnamon rolls.
- Sylas and Maddys: If ice cream is more your style, check out one of the ice cream pies from Sylas and Maddys in Olathe.
- The Littlest Bake Shop: This all-gluten-free and vegan bakery offers a variety of pies as well as rolls and other yummy desserts.
- The Pantry: This bakery in Lenexa offers pies, cheesecakes, and other baked goods for your holiday celebration.
- Tippin’s Pies: These delicious pies can be found at area Hen House and Price Chopper grocery stores.
