I use these in my built-in wardrobe, they’re great, another person wrote.
The clothes don’t smell as musty while drying when I hang them on the washing maiden, a third person said.
Denise bought the product from Poundland.
Her essential item is made to look like a pouch that can be hung from a clothes rack.
However it can also be bought in a box form.
Poundland claims that their £1 pack of two damp traps also gets rid of odors brought on by humidity.
The cheap damp trap is a favorite among the Hinch Cleaning Army Tips group, according to its members.
Before being replaced, the traps can be used for roughly three months.
They may accumulate clear to brown liquid depending on the quality of the air in the room.
Members of the group noted that several stores, including Pound Stretchers and Amazon, sold inexpensive damp traps.
Poundland offers the damp trap (in its new packaging) in packs of two for just £1. Some claim the trap helps dry the laundry.

Dehumidifiers, which are now common in most homes, work to lower the amount of moisture in the air, lowering the risk of mold growth and condensation-related dampness. One of the more compelling arguments for investing is the decrease in dust mites caused by reducing the amount of moisture in the air.
Dehumidifiers can produce better results in larger spaces, but they also need maintenance, such as routine reservoir emptying. They should also be taken into account because of their more pronounced presence in the space.
Damp crystals are not a substitute for an electronic dehumidifier. They are not a long-term fix for a damp problem and are unquestionably not as effective. Damp crystals can be an excellent way to lower the humidity in the air if you have a wardrobe, cabinet, mobile home, or poorly ventilated cloakroom/utility room in your home. This is because there shouldn’t be too much moisture in the air given how small the space is.
Humidistat extractor fans can effectively control condensation because they are ducted to the outside of a building, don’t need to be emptied, and don’t alter a room’s footprint by mounting on upper exterior walls or ceilings.
Calcium chloride is typically used to make damp crystals, which draw moisture from the air. Home crystal damp removers are typically placed on top of a plastic chamber that is empty and covered by a lid. Similar to plastic washing detergent tablet boxes, they have an empty bottom for the dampness or water to collect in and a compartment at the top for the crystals. The entire unit is typically quite small, making it simple to place it on top of window ledges or countertops in places with poor ventilation and a risk of dampness.
