Ever since his introduction in Chapter 1 Season 5, Beef Boss has been one of the most iconic NPCs in Fortnite. This Durr Burger mascot is a fan favorite character that has appeared in challenges, events, and the storyline over the years.

In the current Season 5 of Chapter 2, Beef Boss is back once again. Players need to find and interact with him to complete one of the new Predator challenges.

Who is Beef Boss in Fortnite?

For those newer Fortnite players, here’s some backstory on Beef Boss. He’s the mascot for Durr Burger, which is a fictional fast food chain that exists within the Fortnite universe.

Beef Boss is a man dressed up in a burger costume reminiscent of mascots for real world brands like McDonald’s or Wendy’s. In addition to his burger suit, Beef Boss has:

• A burger for a head
• Ketchup and mustard packet shoulders
• French fry carton shoes
• A soda cup for one hand

He made his first appearance during Fortnite’s Season 5 back in 2018. Beef Boss could be found walking around the Durr Burger restaurant location.

Since then, he will randomly show up across the island each season. He’ll usually be near the current Durr Burger joints that get added to the map.

Where to Find Beef Boss in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5

In the current season, Beef Boss can be located at the Durr Burger food trucks just north of Pleasant Park.

The exact location is: E3 on the Fortnite map

This is along the main road that passes by Pleasant Park up through Craggy Cliffs. You’ll see the red and yellow Durr Burger food trucks parked at this location.

Beef Boss hangs around this food truck area. He paces back and forth near the trucks and picnic tables.

Here are some tips for finding him when you arrive:

• Beef Boss spawns randomly so he may not appear right away
• Check behind the trucks and around the sides
• Try coming at different times of day
• Switch to another mode and return if you don’t see him
• He will be walking around slowly in his burger costume

Interact with Beef Boss to complete the challenge objective. You can talk to him, emote, or attack if you want.

The main thing isBeef Boss must become alerted to your presence. He’ll call out one of his voice lines when the interaction triggers.

Other NPC Locations Needed for the Predator Challenge

In addition to Beef Boss, there are two other NPCs you need to visit for this weekly challenge:

Remedy – Located at the house east of Pleasant Park

Dummy – Inside Pleasant Park gas station

Remedy and Dummy are both close to each other near Pleasant Park. Beef Boss is a bit north from the other two.

You can visit them in any order. Just make sure to speak with all three during the match to complete the challenge.

Tips for Visiting Beef Boss Safely

• Scout the area first and eliminate any nearby enemies
• Approach from cover in case hostile players are camping there
• Grab some shields and a weapon before going to him
• Try landing directly at his location early in the match
• Complete this challenge in Team Rumble where respawning is enabled
• Switch to a vehicle for a quick getaway after interacting
