What kind of parmesan cheese to use
I used the fresh parmesan that is small and powdery and is found in the cheese section. It resembles the type of parmesan that is typically used for spaghetti.
Both will work, but I do not advise using the long parmesan slivers for this recipe. The tiny pieces do an excellent job of dispersing the parmesan edges’ crunchy texture on the green beans.
