Nevertheless, he proceeded to construct those chicken barns, setting the groundwork for a long-lasting family farming legacy.

Growing up, Adam and Alex loved living on a farm. They would compete over who got to drive the truck and farm equipment. But when it came time to move out, they went their separate ways to forge their own path.
While Alex was pursuing a career in professional baseball and Jenny was employed as a nurse in New Orleans, they met. After getting married and beginning to plan for the future of their family, they ultimately made the decision to return to West Virginia in order to raise their contemporary farm family.
When Adam went off to college, he always knew he wanted to come home to the farm. He met his wife Erica playing on a local softball team and within a year they were married. The whole family loves to play sports, in fact. The younger kids enjoy playing ball with their “Pap” Alvin, and the brothers remain as competitive as they were when they were younger.
Every family is expanding, and the kids are enjoying all the benefits of living on a farm, just like Adam and Alex did when they were younger. Our son will have a strong work ethic and learn to always give it your all from growing up on a farm. – Jenny.

The Foltzes run their farm as a family. Though they each have different responsibilities, Alvin, Adam, and Alex generally look out for one another. Barbara oversees the business’s finances, and they all know they can rely on one another when it comes time to construct a new barn or relocate a large number of turkeys at once.
Together, they take pride in being able to manage their farms in an ethical manner, producing turkeys free of hormones, steroids, or antibiotics that promote growth. And the best part is, they do it all as a family. My favorite thing about what I do is that I get to do it with my family.
